IDAHO POWER's last December (2004) application
requesting an increase in the Conservation Program Funding Charge
with IPUC
Dear Sirs/IPUC:
My family strongly OPPOSE any increase in Idaho Power s charge for Conservation Programs.
We believe the only "programs " that Idaho Power should be pursuing are (1) a program of
capi tal investment to increase power generating capacity in Idaho through clean methods,
such as WIND POWER, SOLAR, LOCAL ALCOHOL, and GEOTHERMAL power generation, that do notinvol ve foreign oil; and (2) a continuing and far-reaching program to REDUCE
administrative costs, overhead costs, and upper-level administrative salaries /benefi ts
costs for Idaho consumers.
Thank you very much for your excellence in oversight of this industry, and your continued
protection of the interests of Idaho ci ti zens and consumers.
