Though it is more money to be spent on something we Power, gas, water are all basic needs and we are at the mercy of the provider and the IPUC as to how much we must pay. Last year my family had to drop our cable company and rely solely upon free television services. This has been a good thing but it was not by choice but economics. With power , gas and water we have no choice but to pay what they demand. I was once on a different power company and paid much less then what Idaho Power demanded at that time. I have spoken to customers on Cooperative Franchise and learned they are paying lower power rates. This was a shock to me, being an Idaho Power customer, to learn they buy power from Idaho Power. My question to Idaho Power would be, have they done everything a reasonable business can do to absorb some of this increase and how necessary is this to business? To recap, as a consumer I have the choice to find the best service for the money. Withmost public utili ties, like Idaho Power, I do not have the option to shop for the best service for the price. With this I am opposed to these increases. Transaction ID: 1231800.Referred by: http: / /www. puc. state. id. us/ scripts/polyform. dll/ipuc User Address: 216.222.12. User Hostname: 216.222.12.
