We choose to use an evaporative cooler and are very satisfied with the resul ts. Hence, we use very little electricity and have a very small bill compared those who choose refrigerated air. I think that we do have a problem with electric consumption in Idaho and also the rest of the USA. People have been spoiled and accustomed to being able to consume/waste as much of everything as they want whether it be food, electricty, water, gasoline, etc. Obviously they will continue their wasteful ways until it becomes impossible to continue for either economic or supply reasons. I don t think that your proposed air conditioning program even gets close to solving the problem. Idont think that you or anyone else wants to address the real problem. The real problem being that your customers are spoiled rotten, wasteful, and not interested in conserving anything until we absolutely ruin this beautiful planet. So, don t do a thing and just let us slide futher into the ugly future we have chosen by our selfish lifestyle which has been encouraged for many years (until very recently) by utility companies interested inincreasing profits.
