MOTION TO EXTEND THE
DEADLINE FOR STAFF PREFILE
TESTIMONY
COMES NOW the Commission Staff by and through its attorney of record, Donald
L. Howell, II, and respectfully requests that the Commission grant Staff an extension of the time
in which to submit its prefiled direct testimony in this case. In Order No. 29465 issued April 14
2004, the Commission adopted a schedule to process this case. The City of Eagle and Staff are
currently scheduled to file their prefiled testimonies on June 25 , 2004. Idaho Power s rebuttal
testimony is due August 16 with the hearing scheduled for September 9, 2004. Order No. 20465
at 2.
Given the demands placed on Staff in other pending cases, it seeks an extension for
its pre filed testimony from June 25 to July 30, 2004. Counsels for the City and Idaho Power
have consented to this extension. Consequently, the Staff believes it is appropriate for the
Commission to amend its hearing schedule to allow the Commission Staff to file its prefiled
direct testimony no later than July 30, 2004.

PREFILE TESTIMONY
Given the consent of the other parties, Staff believes that the Commission may act on
this procedural Motion without waiting for responses from the other parties. IDAP A
31.01.01.256.03. Granting this Motion will not affect the hearing date in this matter.
