Washington St. Boise, Idaho 83702 Dear Commissioner I live at 827 Riverside in Eagle, Idaho. The reason for this letter has to do with the proposed utility poles that Idaho Power wishes to place along the State Street bypass. These poles would be an unsightly nuisance and would potentially devalue the aesthetics of my property. The question I raise to the commission is this. If developers are required to bury utilities, why shouldn t Idaho Power be held accountable to the same standard? I have no objections to power lines being run near my property. The issue is the unsightly view of the overhead towers. In my opinion all parties, utilities individuals, and government should adhere to the same standard. As a result, it is my recommendation that the lines be buried. Unfortunately I will be unable to attend the public hearing. I am requesting this letter be read into evidence as a part of my testimony. Sincerely, ~9v- \)~ Thomas G. Dater, CLU TGD :rmw
