They don t seem to care about anyone them selfs. I am 68 & single , on fixed income.
Getting harder to make ends meet. 2.5 per cent , yes but not 17.7 per cent onresidential.
Makes me think Idaho Power hasn I t been managed very well. So, no pay
incentives and cancel the Arid Club memebership. Top management makes
enough to pay there own way. It looks like Idaho Power needs to do some expense cutting,
starting at the top. This really stearns me!
To the PUC, I trust you to do the right thing. God help Idaho Power
management and PUC to do right thing in this matter. Regards, Don

line the $2.50 there already getting is way to much and should be lowered, after all I

Comment - descriptIon:~ree with the PUC that Idaho Power should not get the ridiculous
increase in rates that they are suggesting. This just goes to show everyone how greedy
Idaho power and other utili ties are. I still think there should be an investigation into
price gouging by utility companies in the state of Idaho.

Everyone in business has to grow their company internally while this management spends any
way it wishes and then petitions the PUC which ' wal ks in lock-step I with management and
always OK's the requests as necessary. This PUC better get with it and start acting in the
public I s interest, not errant management's. Get some BACKBONE!

reason they want an increase is because they can, there is no competition for them. They

Comment description: i want to applaude you for your current decision concerning the
requested increase idaho power requested. I realize they have expanded and replaced
resources. However, what company doesn t have to do this Private enterprise puts a
percentage away or borrows money to do this. If they were to raise their prices above
usually regulated by inflation they would not be in business long.
Just because they are nearly a total monopoly here does not justify
bad business management.
