The 10$ customer charge is going to be used to pay for electronic meter upgrades, better to pay a one time charge to do this, or this money goesinto the hole with no bottom. If people want to have these 5 to 8000 square foot homes and use more electricity to heat and cool them , let them pay a surcharge, this would causepeople to be more conservative. In the present environment I as a user am subsidizing the subdeveloper and 8000 sq ft mansions for two people Thank you, Dennis Smith Transaction 10: 11191533. Especially after they posted such a large profit. It's good to see that somebody is looking after the consumer for a change. It seems Idacorp has been using Idaho Power asit's cash cow for some time. If any of you are interested, there is a fine book out that certainly clarified the issue for me, it's called Power Play, by Sharon Beder. It helps to remind us of how deregulation has turned out in the past. Again, thanks for your time. Transaction 10: 11191823. Obviously this is not peak time for the utilities, however when on a demand charge we are paying enormous amount for our power. Other sporting complexes must face similiar cases. Can there not be a weekend night rate for electricity so we can use power needed and available on this non peak time.
