NOTICE OF HEARING
On May 25, 2004, the Commission issued Order No. 29505 in this Idaho Power
Company rate case that approved a $25 329,438 increase in the Company s annual revenue
requirement. Three weeks later the Company filed a timely Petition for Reconsideration on
several issues, including the Commission s adjustment to the test year tax expense., In Order No.
29547 issued July 13 , 2004, the Commission granted reconsideration on the calculation of
income tax expense and permitted the parties the opportunity to present new evidence regarding
the use of a five-year average. The Commission directed Idaho Power and Staff to propose
procedural schedule to complete the reconsideration process, including an evidentiary hearing
within the statutory time constraints.
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that pursuant to agreement of Idaho Power and
Commission Staff, the Commission has adopted the following procedural scheduling in this case:
Deadline for pre filing simultaneous direct August 20, 2004
testimony and exhibits
Deadline for prefiling simultaneous rebuttal
testimony and exhibits
September 3, 2004
On the prefile dates, Parties must send a copy of testimony and exhibits to Parties of Record by
e-mail and U.S. Mail.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Commission will conduct a technical

YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all proceedings in this case will be held
pursuant to the Commission s jurisdiction under Title 61 of the Idaho Code and that the
Commission may enter any final Order consistent with its authority under Title 61.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all proceedings in this matter will be
conducted pursuant to the Commission s Rules of Procedure, IDAPA 31.01.01.000 et seq.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all hearings in this matter will be held in
facilities meeting the accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Persons needing the help of a sign language interpreter or other assistance in order to participate
in or to understand testimony and argument at a public hearing may ask the Commission to
provide a sign language interpreter or other assistance at the hearing. The request for assistance
