Disk Containing epfes-oHheCompanys Application , Testimony and Exhibitsin Case No. IPC-O3-Dear Lisa:On October 28 2003, you requested that Idaho Power provide theCommission with a short letter: (1) certifying that the copy of the rate case filing contained inthe compact disk provided by the Company is identical to the paper copy filed with theCommission, and (2) stating that the parties and the .public may rely on the compact disk.In responding to your request, the Company must first emphasize that theApplication, Testimony, Exhibits and other documents filed wIth the Commission are the
official filing of the Company. The traditional practice has been to provide paper copies of
the filing to parties , and upon request Idaho Power is certainly willing to do that. RP 231.
also requires that a copy of pre-fIled testimony be provided in computer-readable form. The
Company complied by filing the CD containing a copy of the entire filing.
Idaho Power is willing to provide copies of the filing in the CD medium as a
courtesy and because some persons or parties may prefer that medium. It should be
acknowledged that the process of copying documents into a CD. or ~ther dIgital medium can
oqcasio,nally cause minor formatting .nd -other "litches." That being- said , to th.e best of
Idaho Power s knowledge and belief, the matedals copied onto the CD medium and provided
to the CommissIon are a true and correct copy of the filing made by the Company in the
bove- ref era n ced case.
