COMMENT DEADLINES
ORDER NO. 29313
Idaho Power Company (Idaho Power, Company) filed an Application on May 6, 2003
requesting authority to revise its depreciation rates for the Company s electric plant in service.
The Commission issued a Notice of Filing, Modified Procedure and CommentlProtest Deadlines
with regard to the Application on June 3 , 2003. Order No. 29253. Under the timeframe set forth
in the Notice, comments were due Friday, August 8, 2003 and Idaho Power s reply comments
were due on August 19.
On July 31 , 2003 Commission Staff filed a Motion for Extension of Comment
Deadlines pursuant to Commission Rule 256. IDAPA 31.01.01.256. Staff's Motion represented
that Staff, Idaho Power and the Industrial Customers of Idaho Power agreed that additional time
is needed to determine if a settlement can be reached and draft an appropriate stipulation and/or
comments. Staff's Motion also indicated that counsel for the other parties participating in this
case did not object to extension of the comment and reply comment deadlines to August 29
2003 and September 9 2003 , respectively.
Based upon these uncontested representations, the Commission accordingly modifies
the comment deadlines previously set in Order No. 29253 to allow the parties an adequate
opportunity to settle and/or respond to the issues presented in the Company s Application.
AMENDED NOTICE OF COMMENT DEADLINES
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the deadline for filing written comments or
protests with respect to the Company s Application and the use of Modified Procedure in Case
No. IPC-03-7 has been extended to Friday, August 29, 2003. IDAPA 31.01.01.202.02.
Persons desiring a hearing must specifically request a hearing in their written protests or
comments.

YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the deadline for Idaho Power Company to
file written reply comments with respect to this case is extended to Tuesday, September 9,
2003.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that written comments concerning this
Application must be mailed to the Idaho Public Utilities Commission and Idaho Power Company
