Jewell, Secretary ldaho Public Utilities Commission 472 West Washington Street Boise, ldaho 83702 Re: ldaho Power Company Land Conveyance - 30th Street Project Dear Ms. Jewell: On June 10, 2013, ldaho Power ('ldaho Power" or 'Company") advised the ldaho Public Utilities Commission ('Commission") that the Company intended to sell a 200 square- foot parcel of land to the Ada County Highway District ('ACHD') for its 30th Street project in Boise ("Property"). The Property is part of a larger parcel owned by ldaho Power and contains a warehouse and outside storage. ln addition to compensation for the acquisition of the Property, ACHD paid ldaho Power for improvements to the Property including a temporary construction easement, ground cover, lavender plants, ornamental grass, and concrete sidewalk. The Company determined that the conveyance of the Property did not require Commission approval per ldaho Code S 61-328. ln a letter dated August 26,2013, Donald L. Howell, ll, Deputy Attorney General of the Commission, agreed that the conveyance of the Property did not require Commission approval under ldaho Code S 61-328 and advised ldaho Power to file final accounting entries when the real estate transaction was complete.
