Jewell, Secretary ldaho Public Utilities Commission 472 West Washington Street Boise, ldaho 83702 Re: ldaho Power Company Land Conveyance - Hillsdale Substation Dear Ms. Jewell: On June 13,2012,1daho Power Company ("ldaho Power" or'Company") advised the ldaho Public Utilities Commission ('Commission') that the Company intended to convey 0.171 acres of land (.Property") to the Ada County Highway District ('ACHD') near the intersection of Amity and Eagle Roads in Ada County. The Company determined that the conveyance of the Property did not require Commission approval per ldaho Code S 61-328. In a letter dated August 20, 2012, Donald L. Howell, ll, Deputy Attorney General, advised ldaho Power that the Commission approved the Company's proposed conveyance of the Property to ACHD and advised ldaho Power to file final accounting entries when the real estate transaction and necessary construction were complete. Pursuant to the Commission's request, ldaho Power hereby submits the final accounting entries for the Hillsdale Substation land conveyance to ACHD. There were two work orders involved in the transaction, one for the land sale and one for the gate work and landscaping that resulted from the roundabout constructed by ACHD. The first page of accounting entries relates to the land sale and the second page relates to the gate redesign. ldaho Power received compensation from ACHD in the amount of $31,281.50 (the initial estimate of $23,526.50 + an additional $7,755 in landscaping costs). Of this amount, $7,430.00 was paid for land conveyed in the transaction. As shown in the attached accounting entries, the book value of the Company's land conveyed to ACHD was $9,346.68, resulting in a total loss on the $7,430.00 disposition of the land of $1,916.68. lf you have any questions regarding this filing, please contact me at 388-5612 or cwaites@idahopower. com.
