CERTIFICATE NO. 537
IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that public convenience and necessity requires and will
require Idaho Power Company to construct a new (second) 138 kilovolt (kV) transmission line and
related facilities to provide redundant service from the Wood River substation near Hailey into the
Ketchum substation. More specifically, for the particular line route and facilities identified as
Underground Transmission-TP1, to include 138 kV overhead transmission from the Wood River
substation, north along Highway 75, to an underground transmission transition point near Elkhorn
Road (TP1), and then underground to the Ketchum substation; to exercise all rights and privileges
which have been granted to said Idaho Power Company, its successors and assigns by any franchise
or permit conferred or hereafter conferred upon said Idaho Power Company, its successors and
assigns by any city or village or by any county or by the State of Idaho or by any political
subdivision thereof.
This certificate is predicated upon and issued pursuant to the findings and order of this
Commission, the same being Order No. 33872 in the above entitled matter made and entered on
the 15th day of September, 2017.
