On August 5,2008,Idaho Power Company filed an Application for a Certificate of
Public Convenience and Necessity (“CPCN”),pursuant to Idaho Code §S 61-502A,61-503,61-
525,6 1-526,RP 52,and RP 112,to install Advanced Metering Infrastructure (“AMI”)
technology throughout its Idaho service territory.
IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that the future public convenience and necessity
requires and will require Idaho Power Company to install,operate and maintain AMI throughout
its Idaho service territory.
THIS CERTIFICATE is predicated upon and issued pursuant to the findings of fact,
conclusions of law,and conditions contained in Order No.30726,service dated February 12,
2009,in the above-referenced case.
