CERTIFICATE NO. 279
IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that the public convenience
and neces si ty requires and will require Idaho Power Company,
its successors and assigns to construct a new powerhouse on
the Snake River in Power County, Idaho , approximately 300 feet
downstream from the American Falls Replacement Dam being
constructed by the American Falls Reservoir District as the
constructing agency pursuant to Federal law.
Idaho Power Company is authorized to construct , operate
and maintain the American Falls Power Plant and related
facilities as described in their application and designated
by the Federal Power Co~nission as Proj ect No. 2736-Idaho.
THIS CERTIFICATE is predicated upon and issued
pursuant to the findings and provisions of Order No. 12631
issued August 30 , 1976.
