Avista Corporation dba Avista Utilities (Avista or Company) received the letter from the Idaho
Public Utilities Commission (IPUC) dated May 30, 2018 notifuing the Company of annual revision
and updated calculation of the adjustable portion of the avoided cost rates for existing PURPA
contracts. The Company has reviewed the new published avoided cost rates and agrees that the
calculations are correct.
