The public view among those who would build RE projects in Idaho, and who feel that the West should lead the nation' s RE development sector, is stunned amazement and disappointment. Further, IPCs deeply-seated disdain for solar developments seems to be supported by the State of Idaho by virtue of this decision. Idaho will not recover from this industrial attenuation when compared to our neighbors. Idaho' s record of development of geo, biomass, PV solar and other RE sources is dismal, favoring wind solely. (Most do not consider hydro as RE due to the long-term effects on rivers and the extended aquatic environment.) What was the reasoning for such a decision?
