Thank you for notifying Blue Ribbon Energy LLC.
Blue Ribbon and MJ Humphries have been directly involved with the development of and the contests about the Idaho
Avoided Cost Rates for the past 6 years.
In behalf of Blue Ribbon Energy LLC, I write to inform the Commission of Blue Ribbon's favorable view of the new
proposed avoided cost rate schedule for Pacificorp, showing a new avoided cost rate for 2011 on a 20 year contract of
$85.64/MWh on a levelized contract, without any deduction for the former $6.50 integration fee. This new rate is where
the avoided cost rate should be, and should have been for some time.
Thank you for this new proposed rate. Please adopt it and send us a copy of Your Order Adopting the new proposed
rates as soon as possible. Blue Ribbon believes that this new proposed rate schedule wil greatly help the State of Idaho
to achieve its goals in reaching a much larger green energy electric production level in the near future.
Did this new proposed rate schedule take into consideration the cost of a substation for a PURPA wind farm to hook
into the electric grid?
