PL98-5-000 THROUGH -007 REQUEST TO PARTICIPATE The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has given notice that seven public conferences will be convened to discuss regional factors relevant to its policy concerning Independent System Operators (ISOs). The Idaho Public Utilities Commission requests the opportunity to appear and speak at the Portland, Oregon meeting on June 5, 1998.  The speaker would be Marsha H. Smith, Commissioner, Idaho Public Utilities Commission, appearing on behalf of the IPUC and the State of Idaho.  The requested synopsis of remarks is attached.
