AVU-E-23-15. On October 2, 2023, Avista Corporation and Clearwater Paper Corporation (collectively “the Parties”) filed a Joint Petition (“Petition”) with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission (“Commission”). The Parties seek approval of Amendment No. 1 (“Amendment”) to their 2018 Power Purchase and Sale Agreement (“2018 PPA”). 1 The Parties’ proposed Amendment requests an extension of the 2018 PPA for an additional three years and authority to file a revised Schedule 25P. The Parties also request that this case be processed by Modified Procedure. STAFF RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends the Commission issue a Notice of Petition and Notice of Modified Procedure establishing a public comment deadline of December 5, 2023, and a Party reply deadline of December 12, 2023.
