Avista Corporation’s, doing business as Avista Utilities’ (Avista or the Company), would like to
thank Commission Staff for their comments pertaining to the Company’s updated load and natural
gas forecast. Avista supports Staff’s recommendation that the Company file updated forecasts
through an amended compliance filing and will provide an explanation of the difference between
this forecast and the previous year’s forecast. Avista expects to have the data required shortly and
proposes to file this update no later than December 20, 2023.
