SUBJECT: IN THE MATTER OF AVISTA’S 2023 ELECTRIC INTEGRATED
RESOURCE PLAN: CASE NO. AVU-E-23-05.

On May 31, 2023, Avista Corporation d/b/a/ Avista Utilities (“Company”) filed its 2023
Electric Integrated Resource Plan (“IRP”) with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission
(“Commission”). On June 29, 2023, the Commission issued a Notice of Filing and Notice of
Intervention Deadline. Order No. 35829. On July 21, 2023, the Commission issued a Notice of
Parties.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Commission issue a Notice of Modified Procedure establishing a
November 16, 2023, initial comment deadline, and a December 7, 2023, Company reply comment
deadline.
COMMISSION DECISION
Does the Commission wish to issue a Notice of Modified Procedure establishing a
