Comment: "An 8% increase in electricity is outrageous and has no valid reason to be raised such a high
percentage at once.

No - I do not support this high of an increase. Every quarter/year we seem to get more increases
without any breaks. I understand upgrades cost money and investment as well as worker wages and
supply costs, but repor�ng record earnings isn't a quota for the customers and I don't feel that Avista has
to make record earnings every quarter just to keep share holders happy and management greedy. They
should make earnings, yes. But not "record" earnings every quarter by charging the customers more for
numbers on paper and dollars in shareholder's pockets.

Please watch out for the customers and their needs as well. We're working people who support our
businesses, but have lives and families to feed as well. Say no to corporate greed and yes to the
customers please. Keep increases more reasonable and spaced out. The customers don't even get
annual work pay raises as much or o�en as Avista seems to keep raising their rates the past several
years. Checks and balances are important.
