Comment: "The proposed rate hike is too much to ask the ci�zens right now to fork over. Our household
is currently on a lower income then previous years and we are struggling to make basic bills. Asking us to
pay more, even a penny more, would impact us greatly considering we are now having to go to the food
bank for food. With the increase in housing, (mortgage) because of high taxes, food prices going up, city
u�li�es going up, gas to get to and from work going up and up, where can we as ci�zens find relief?
They need to wait and propose the increase a�er things setle down financially for everyone. If it is soon
great if it is 3 years from now fine. But do not put more financial burdens on the Ci�zens of Lewiston.
WE CANNOT AFFORD IT!"
