Comment: "It was reported this morning that Avista is reques�ng a rate hike for Idaho residen�al
customers of 11.9% star�ng this September. The ar�cle said Avista stated this rate hike request was "fair
and reasonable." If infla�on numbers recently reported were 4%, then this request is NOT fair and
reasonable. The u�lity company thinks we have unlimited income. Their request is UNCONSCIONABLE!
And it is far from reasonable. There are a great number of elderly re�red persons in North Idaho that
have fixed incomes. Perhaps Avista should have a fixed income. I sincerely hope the Commissioners deny
this request...contrary to what some poli�cos believe, "GREED IS NOT GOOD." Greed is insidious and is
working to destroy this great na�on! I am a na�ve Idahoan. Thank you for your considera�on. Please say
"no" to Avista."
