RE: Case No. AVU-E-22-06 - Staff s Petition to Update Colstrip-Related Adjustable Portion
of Avoided Costs Rates for Existing PITRPA Contracts
Avista Corporation dba Avista Utilities (Avista or Company) received the Notice of Petition and
notice of Modified Procdure, Order No. 35402, from the Idaho Public Utilities Commission
(PUC or Commission) dated May 13, 2022, nonfying the Company of Staffs petition to the
Commission to approve the annual revision to update the Colstrip-related adjustable portion of
avoided costs rates for existing PURPA contracts. The Company has reviewed the new published
avoided cost rates and agrees that the calculations are correct.
