Dear Ms. Hanian:
Avista Corporation dba Avista Utilities (Avista or Company) is in receipt of the letter from the
Idaho Public Utilities Commission (IPUC) dated Decernber 26,2019 notirying the Company of
the update to published avoided cost rates to reflect an updated weighted cost ofcapital due to the
Company's recent general rate case. Avista has reviewed the new published avoided cost rates and
agrees that the calculations are correct.
