SUBJECT: AVISTA RATE CASE, CASE NO. I.9-04
On September 12,2019, the Commission issued a scheduling order for a settlement
conference, prefiled testimony deadline, rebuttal deadline, and a technical hearing date. See
Order No. 34433. A proposed Stipulation and Settlement Agreement ("Stipulation") has been
reached as a result of the settlement conference that all parties attended on October l, 2019.
Staff requests that the Commission modify the case schedule as set forth below. The parties
have not taken a position on whether public workshops or a hearing for customers should be
scheduled.
RECOMMENDATION
In light of the Stipulation, the parties request that the Commission issue an Order that
amends the scheduling order as follows:
. Prefiled testimony in favor of the proposed settlement filed by October 3l,2OI9;
and,
. Technical hearing to be held November 22,2019, at 9:30 a.m., MST or on another
dated and time prior to the end of November of 2019.
COMMISSION DECISION
Does the Commission wish to issue an Order that amends the schedule as described
above?
Does the Commission also wish to schedule any public workshops and/or public
hearings in Avista's service territory?
