The workshop is intended to provide the public the opportunity to hear an overview from Commission Staff of the Company's 20 year plan, staff s analysis of Avista's 2020 elec1uric IRP and to allow Commission Staff to hear concerns and address questions from the public. The public workshop is from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (MDT) on Thursday, July 9. Those interested in participating can do so by calling 1-415-655-0001, and entering access code 133 529 9901. Customers can also participate online by visiting idahogov.webex.com, and entering the number 133 529 9901. At the next window, please enter your name, e-mail address and the password: July9Meeting. The IRP is a biennial status report on the utility's ongoing and evolving plans to adequately and reliably serve its customers at the lowest syston cost and least risk over the next 20 years. Avista develops its plan through a public process involving customers, Commission Staff, the Northwest Power and Conservation Council, consumer advocates, acadanics, environmental groups, utility peers, government agencies and other interested parties. Avista submits its IRP to the Idaho Public Utilities Commission for acknowledgment. Commission acknowledgment of the IRP does not mean the Commission approves of any specific conclusions or results, but rather acknowledges the company adequately addressed the matters required by the Commission's prior orders.
