I'm requesting that the IPUC hold a virtual public hearing on Avista's 2020 Electric Integrated Resource Plan. I think it would be helpful if the IPUC held a virtual public hearing and accepted public testimony on Avista's electric plan because there's value in communicating with people face-to-face. As a Sandpoint resident, I can only get electricity from one provider, Avista, and I think it's important that customers beholden to a monopoly have in-person opportunities to ensure accountability and share our opinions. North Idaho is growing and the public interest in where we get our electricity from is changing, so the IPUC should provide more opportunities to welcome newcomers' voices and opinions by holding a public hearing. Thank you for your time and attention to this important matter. Again, I am requesting the IPUC hold a virtual public hearing on Avista's 2020 Electric Integrated Resource Plan. I acknowledge that submitting a comment in an open case constitutes a public record under Idaho Code § 74-101(13) and all information provided by me in this comment is available for public and media inspection. My comment may be reviewed by the utility. Sincerely, Renee Nigon 62 Kootenai Meadow Drive Sandpoint, ID 83864
