Hello, IPUC Commissioners,

As a resident of Latah County and an Avista customer, I hope that the IPUC will hold a virtual hearing
this summer on Avista’s 2020 EIRP so that we in the northern part of the state can officially provide
public testimony.

The next 20 years will be absolutely critical if Idaho is to maintain and expand its energy resources in the
face of the changing climate.

It’s especially important that we customers who really have only one choice of provider have the
opportunity to voice our opinions and concerns in as direct a manner as possible.
Thanks for considering the request that the IPUC hold virtual hearings on Avista’s 2020 Electric
integrated Resource Plan.

I acknowledge that submitting a comment in an open case constitutes a public record under Idaho Code
74-101(13) and that all information I provide in this comment is available for public and media
inspection. My comment may be reviewed by the utility.
