On August 23,2018,Avista Corporation dba Avista Utilities (the Company)filed an
Agreed-Upon Motion to Revise Schedule,which asked the Commission to revise the schedule in
this case,and to recognize that the Company is extending the proposed effective date for its new
depreciation rates to April 1,2019.The Company relayed that all parties have concurred with the
Company's Motion.
Having reviewed the record,we grant the Company's Motion as discussed below.
BACKGROUND
The Company's current depreciation rates for its natural gas and electric property were
set in 2013.See Order No.32769.On February 28,2018,the Company filed an Application that
requested the Commission approve new depreciation rates to take effect January 1,2019.The
Commission subsequently issued a Notice of Applicationand set an interventiondeadline of April
23,2018.Order No.34014.Clearwater Paper,Idaho Conservation League,Idaho Forest Group,
and the Sierra Club intervened as parties.Order Nos.34016,34049.The parties proposed,and the
Commission adopted,a procedural schedule for the case.Order No.34116.
THE MOTION
Due to delays related to the Company's proposed merger with Hydro One,the
Company moved the Commission vacate the prior schedule and replace it with the following
schedule:
1.Settlement conferences shall be held on November 27,2018,December 11,
2018,and January 22,2019;
2.The Comment Deadline shall be February 15,2019;and
3.The Reply Deadline shall be February 28,2019.

The Company also asked the Commission to recognize that the Company was changing
its proposed effective date for the new depreciation rates from January 1,2019,to April 1,2019.
The Company relayed that all parties agreed with the Company's proposals.
ORDER
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the schedule approved in Order No.34116 is vacated;
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the parties shall hold settlement conferences on
November 27,2018,December 11,2018 (if necessary),and January 22,2019 (if necessary).The
parties shall confer and agree to the time and location of the settlement conferences;
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that interested persons and parties may file written
comments or protests in this matter throughFebruary 15,2019;
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Company may file reply comments through
February 28,2019;and
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Company's proposed effective date for any
changes to the Idaho depreciation rates is deemed extended from January 1,2019,to April 1,2019.
