To the Secretary of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission,
In regards to case numberAVU-E-17-1 l,I would like to register my earnest complaint of upholding Avista's policy of a 'noopt-out'from smart meters and asking for your serious reconsideration.I,and others I know,haveserious health problems that
are greatly exacerbated by the EMFs created by devices such as the smart meters.In trying to improve my health and regain the
health I havepreviously enjoyed,I am trying to eliminate any and all sources of EMFs in my home.I feel held captive,notbeingabletooptoutofinstallingthesmartmeter.While I do need electricity (from Avista),I wish to have the option of
choosing something healthierfor me,but I will haveno recourse but to move elsewhere in anotherpart of the US (or out of the
US if this is the only choice that will support my health!),where I do havethat option.This is a stand against my personalfreedomanddoesnotallowmetohavecontrolofmyownhomeenvironment.
Surely you have done your research on the health impacts of high EMF and human health.Even if you havenot,I do not feel
you havethe right to make choices that compromise my health,and that I should be at least be given the choice to refuse a
deviceforced upon me in my own home!
