Subject:I Object to Hydro One acquiring Avista!
Dear Kristine:
Hydro One doesn't keep electric rates in Canada low,and it will not keep rates low here in America.High electric rates, foreign owners, and little or no local control makes for a BAD deal.
According to the 2015 Ontario Auditor General Report Hydro One is not a very good utilityoperator, with increasingly unreliable service and a maintenance backlog of C$4.4 Billion.
Thank you for voting NO DEAL \

Dear Commissioner,
I strongly object to the selling of an American utilities
company to a foreign country, thus taking control out
of local hands and putting the Northwest at the mercy
of a foreign power!
Most Sincerely,
Patricia Rodgers

I would like to weigh-in on the sale of Avista to HydroOne.
The first consideration immediately coming to mind
was "SECURITY."No nation can truly be secure in its electricalgridwhenitturnsoverANYportionofittoanorganizationthat
is FOREIGN.This seems as though it would be a no-brainer;however,here we are, once again discussing it as though there
is something positive about it.This issue alone is the mostimportanttoconsider;however,if you look at the history ofHydroOneandthecustomersitservesinitsowncountry,IbelieveyouwillunderstandthatthiscorporationisONLYoutfor
one thing --money.I have read about the huge rate increasestheyhaveputintoeffectandhowithashurtthepeople.
PLEASE do not allow this sale to go
through.
Thank you for your consideration.
