Comment:I request that ghe IPUC commissioners reject and disapprove the Avista/Hydro One sale/merger in any form.
This sale is fraught with danger to the ratepayers and all the citizens of the Pacific Northwest.You would have a foreign
government entity in control of our electric and gas that was clearly demonstrated by the ouster of Hydro One's CEO
and board by the new Premier.
The lack of transparency in this transaction is totally unacceptable.Who holds the Golden Share?This person or entity
also has control of the company by virtue of its power to vote all shares outstanding and can also file for bankruptcy on
its own volition,which puts the assets of our power generation,up for grabs.
We have no indication what cost sharing or debt shating formulas sould be used between the two companies.
This sale should not and cannot be approved.It leavesthe ratepayers of Idaho at the mercy of outside entities and we
do not trust your commission can stop adverse effects of this sale.There are too many ways that we as ratepayers can
be fleeced.
