Comment: I stand against this merger for the following reasons!
Avista Power needs to remain in the control of a US entity. HydroOne is a Canadian entity owing its royalty to Canadians
and not US citizens and consumers! Having a foreign entity control the northern ldaho power grid is fool hardy at best.
Canada, especially, under the current Trudeau government that wholeheartedly believes in Global Warming and the
tenets of the Paris Agreement. Canadian government has control over HydroOne and they can make a decision that
would either shut off power to US citizens or restrict its use without consulting Americans first.

Comment: I am firmly against this merger. I do not want any foreign country meddling in our electrical systems
especially because they are in some financial straits of their own. I don't agree with the sustainability policy and I don't
believe that Americans should have Canadians on our Utility boards. This is a bad decision. I think that our electricity
should be kept within the USA borders and not shared with a country that does not share our values.
