Thank you for your consideration of the needs of Idaho citizens. D.Joanne Sutton,1128 Lynandra St,Moscow,ID 83843 1 To Whom It May Concern: My name is Sean Mcilvenna.I am a resident of Coeur d'Alene,Idaho. It has come to my attention that Avista is interested in a merger with Canadian-basedHydroOne. I am strongly opposed to this merger for the following reasons: HydroOne is a foreign entity that should not have any influence in U.S.utilities. HydroOne has a history of price-gouging their residents via what they call "Global adjustment fees". HydroOne has been reported to cut off 40k+residents'electricity mid-winter (when it is needed the most). HydroOne has had a vast 400k residents with unpaid utilitybills, which indicates the cost of theirutilitiesareunaffordable. Avista is (generally)a profitable utilities company with a great credit rating. Why is this merger even being considered when it is clearly not needed? Any one of these reasons should be enough.I urge you to put a stop to this merger immediately. Sincerely, Sean Mcilvenna Resident of Coeur d'Alene,ID 208.930.0350
