This is an incredibly bad idea.Hydro one is using this purchaseto offset carbon credits and the net results to Idaho

I am writingto express my strong opposition to the sale of our energy company Avista to another corporation in
a foreign country.
Why should we allow a foreign owned corporation have control over our natural resources?I do not recall the
specifics,but there now is serious concerns about Russia having significant ownership of our uranium supply in
the United States.This was the result of a Canadian sale if I recall correctly.
I urge the Idaho Public Utilities Commission to stronglyoppose the sale of Avista to any foreign entity.
