Comment:I am against the merger.There is no guarantee that after the merger to Hydro One a foreign company,Hydro
One will re-sell it to another foreign company.I believe that this is a security issue for our power grid.

Comment:Regardingthe proposed merger of Hydro One and Avista:I am opposed to this merger.It only serves to
increase the size of the monopolies which these power companies already enjoy.A merger may indeed also increase the
stock prices of these companies,which would benefit the major shareholders greatly-this appears to be the impetus for
this proposal.The only benefit suggested for the ratepayers is alleged "economies of scale"brought about by the larger
new monopoly,as if Avista is not already able to demand the best prices for whatever it needs.Please do not approvethismergerasitwillonlyputasatthemercyofahugeandmorepowerfulcorporation.
