Dear Ms. Diane M. Hanian, Secretary,
This letter serves to advise the Idaho Public Utilities Commission ("Commission") and all parties
to the above-referenced Case that Avista Corporation ("Avista") and Hydro One Limited ("Hydro
One") terminated their merger agreement on January 23,2019, through action of their respective
boards ofdirectors.
Accordingly, we request the termination of any funher proceedings in this matter and closure of
this Case.
Both Avista and Hydro One are appreciative of the time and effort expended by the Commission,
its advisors, and all parties to these proceedings.
