Comment:l'd like to comment on the IRP.Since coal is out of date and becoming more costly,investing yet again in
1980s technology makes little sense.The Colstrip plant is old and requires too much money to keep it operating
now.Ratepayers will be the ones losing money on this.Colstrip is also a large contributor to greenhouse gases in the US
which is detrimental our environment and health.Do not continue operating Colstrip for twenty more years.Thank you

Comment:The IRP should reflect an earlier closing date for Colstrip.Puget Sound Energy has named the end of useful
life as 2027.IF Avista plan for a similar retirement date,rate payerswill be on the hook for a higher share of the costs.
Also Colstrip is one of the largest contributors of green house gases in the US.It also has deleterious effects on the local
environment in Montana.Coal energy is becoming lass and less economic viable.
