To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing to object to the rate increase requested by Avista.I,along with many others,live on a fixed
income and this excessive increasewill mean cuts in other areas of our lives,in some cases,life altering.
As I am sure you are aware,our Social Security went up 2%and our medicare increased a little over 7%,
so we are already seeinga decrease in our disposable income.
While I understand that Avista's costs probably increase and a small rate increase may be needed,the
proposed increase is too much.Please consider limiting the increaseto a more affordable amount.
