In regards to the proposed Gas and Electric increases.]1LIi00MM ION

The proposed 2016 increases for residential customers is way out of line and
unnecessary.What Avista needs to do to cut costs is down size,starting the
CEO’s outrageous salary!Even at 50%,the CEO’s salary is far above the income of
most in Idaho.Once the CEO has shown good faith in taking the cut in pay,others
would be more willing to see a reduction in their income as well,being thankful
for even having a job.
Businesses throughout this country,during the past 7 plus years,have had to
either down size or file for Chapter 11.
This attempt by Avista to increase these utilities is nothing more than to line their
pockets and make the people of Kootenai County suffer even more with the 18
plus trillion dollar debt.
We say NO to any increase but YES to a demand by the commission to reduce
salaries and cut back on staff.

Every time the consumer turns around these people appear to want rate increases.We all want
rate DECREASES.Lets look to cut exorbitant salaries and useless or utopian programs.And you
can stop dreaming about solar and wind power.Maybe someday,but currently the technology
just isnt there.And lets see if redundant staff can be eliminated or merged.Save money
internally.So I oppose any rate increase--ever.Thanks.
