HomeMy WebLinkAbout20110720order_no_32295.pdfOffice of the Secretary Service Date July 20,2011 BEFORE THE IDAHO PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION IN THE MATTER OF THE APPLICATION ) OF AVISTA CORPORATION REQUESTING )CASE NOS.AVU-E-11-02 APPROVAL TO DECREASE ITS ENERGY )AVU-G-1 1-03 EFFICIENCY PUBLIC PURPOSE RIDER ) SCHEDULES 91 AND 191 )ORDER NO.32295 June 13,2011,Avista Corporation filed an Application with the Commission for authority to decrease the revenues collected under its Energy Efficiency Rider Schedules 91 (electric)and 191 (natural gas).If approved,the Company’s revenues collected under electric Schedule 91 would decrease by $750,000,or 0.3%of billed rates.Revenues collected under natural gas Schedule 191,if approved,would decrease by $2,900,000,or 4.2%of billed retail rates.The Company requested an effective date of August 1,2011,for its proposed electric/gas rate decreases. On June 28,2011,the Commission issued a Notice of Application and Notice of Modified Procedure,O.N.32278,establishing a July 19,2011 comment period. On July 14,2011,Avista filed a Motion for Extension of the comment period and the proposed effective dates of the Company’s Schedules 91 and 191 for an unspecified period of time.The Motion states that the Company and Commission Staff have been engaged in discussions regarding the Application.Commission Staff supports the Company’s Motion. The Commission approves Avista’s Motion for Extension of the comment period and an extension of the proposed effective dates of the Company’s Schedules 91 and 191 for an unspecified period of time. ORDER IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Avista Corporation’s Motion to extend the comment period and the proposed effective dates of the Company’s Schedules 91 and 191 for an unspecified period of time is granted.
