MOTION TO WITHDRAW SCHEDULE i
AND PLACE SCHEDULE 191 INTO
EFFECT ON OCTOBER 1, 2011
June 13, 2011, Avista Corporation filed an Application with the Commission for
authority to decrease the revenues collected under its Energy Efficiency Rider Schedules 91
(electric) and 191 (natural gas). If approved, the Company's revenues collected under electrc
Schedule 91 would have decreased by $750,000, or 0.3% of biled rates. Revenues collected
under natural gas Schedule 191, if approved, would have decreased by $2,900,000, or 4.2% of
biled retail rates. The Company requested an effective date of August 1, 2011, for its proposed
electric/gas rate decreases.
On June 28, 2011, the Commission issued a Notice of Application and Notice of
Modified Procedure, O.N. 32278, establishing a July 19, 2011 comment period.
On July 14, 2011, Avista fied a Motion for Extension of the comment period and the
proposed effective dates of the Company's Schedules 91 and 191 for an unspecified period of
time.

On July 20, 2011, the Commission issued Order No. 32295 approving Avista's Motion
for Extension of the comment period for an unspecified perod of time.
On August 26, 2011, Avista fied a Motion for Approval of Stipulation and Settlement in
Case Nos. AVU-E-11-Ol and AVU-G-11-Ol, the Company's pending electrc and natual gas
general rate cases. As detailed in the Stipulation and Settlement, as par of the Settlement,
Avista agreed to withdraw its fied-for decrease of $0.74 milion in electrc Demand-Side
Management (DSM) Tarff Schedule 91. The Settlement did not require fuer modification to
Schedule 191, but did request that several pending rate filings before the Commission (including
the pending changes to Schedule 191 in ths case - A VU-G-II-03) be put into effect on October
1,2011.
NOW, THREFORE, Avista respectfully requests that the Commission issue an order in
Case Nos. A VU-E-II-02 and A VU-G-II-03:
1. Granting this Motion and accepting Avista's withdrawal of Schedule 91; and
2. Authorizing that revised tarff Schedule 191 be made effective October 1,2011.
