We are opposed to another rate hike. We can barely afford our monthly bill as it is and
practice conservation. The only help available to the consumer is going past due and
recei ving a shut off notice and then there is a one time payment. I have worked with the
elderly in my community and have seen their struggles to eat and pay monthly expenses. We
help when we can but are struggling ourselves. This is so unnessesary in this economy. Avista
must know we are at their mercy - there is no reason other than pay raises that we can see to
justify ANOTHER increase. Please consider our request to NOT allow another increase.

Enough is enough I They are already making huge profits off of us. When they are willing to
give up the big CEO and other coporate increases and salaries, I will consider it fair to
raise struggling families w/o jobs rates.
