I can ì t understand asking for a rate increase when the economy is so bad in the state. The
household income for the state has dropped 3% just this year and they are asking for a rate
increase?? Those of us on social security have not had a cost of living raise in 2 yrs. and
the cost of medicare has gone up so that leaves less money for living expenses. I think
Avista should have to find out how to cut there operating costs. This increase is not
necessary!!!!!!! !
