I am distressed with the numerous increases my bill has gone up in the last year. My bill
has gone from $254.00 to $363.00 and they have done this already starting in March and are
already talking more increase of 12.8% knowing they will not get the full increase but a
majority of it. I am a single woman living on a fixed income and am going to be forced out
of my home if my bill keeps increasing at this ridicoulous rate. I have done several
upgrades from windows J doors and insulation but none of this seems to be helping.
I am sure that I am just a voice shouting in the wind but with economic condtions we are
having I am sure that I am not alone in my distress. I think Avista should be ashamed of
theirselves as this is a true fleecing of America. If the fat cats that are making these
decisions would consider their own salaries maybe the increase would not be needed!!!!!!

First this is supposdly a PUBLIC utility, if they make a profit it should go to improve the
service, not to a company exec.
Most heads of municipals are overpaid and overcompensated because of lack of controls in this
area. It seems they vote themselves raises rather than earning them .
Tax dollars are used to build these facilities then the tax dollar supplier is charged to use
it,is this the national parks system or what?
they do not need an increase if they made 40 MIllION in profit last year. Thanks Don Wood
