To Whom It May Concern:
It' s still not clear to me why Avista is approaching the IPUC for an electric and natural gas
increase. It is my understanding that they recently posted a profit of 66%. I respectfully
hope that this will be factored in when the IPUC makes its decision.

I cannot believe you are considering giving Avista another raise in hikes for their
electricity and gas. People in Northern Idaho are hurting now to pay their bills. And are
freezing now because we have to keep the temp. so low. And we are wearing coats in our
homes, so we don't freeze !!!! Did you not read the paper a couple of weeks ago that Avista
earned over 24 millions dollars in their 2nd quarter. And the bonuses and wages the CEO,
etc. get? I DID !! How can they Ii ve with themselves , or j usti fy even asking for more
rate increases? PLEASE, DO NOT LET THEM HURT ANYMORE PEOPLE !!! I thought you were in
office to help the Idahoians !!
