The Bonneville Fower Ad111inistration (BFA) has.suspendeclResidentIal Exchange Progran:1 (REPJp~ynIents asaresult of the recent rulings train the 9th u.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. Avista hashcenpassmg'through its share ofREP benefits it has been receivingtromBPAtoAvism'squWifyingelectrib ctIstomers byrneans of the rate credit on Sheet 59. Since BPA has te11i1inated REP payments, it is necessary for Avista to eliminate the Sheet 59 rate credit. Avista and the other affected shareholder-owned electric titilities Will pursue all available options to restore theREP benefit payments.
